Recombinant DNA Techniques

Theoretical background and practical application of plasmids, restriction and modifying enzymes, lambda phage, and vectors. Discussion of genomic and cDNA libraries and a variety of detection systems for isolating and characterizing cloned DNA, including hybridization techniques and DNA sequence analysis.
