ART 511

Drawing: Graduate Studio

Advanced picture-making with drawing media. Students will be asked to create a series of related drawings that deal directly with content, composition, and design. This series should result in a group of drawings that might be displayed together in a gallery setting. This class will be taught concurrently with ART 411-Advanced Drawing. Graduate students enrolled in this course are expected to work more independently, to be more active in class discussions, and to meet higher standards generally. May be repeated for up to 9 credits.
