ART 347

Intermediate Visual Technology: Web

Introductory instruction on web-standards-compliant HTML/CSS layouts, as well as design research and planning for interactive media. Course will focus on an understanding of web-based design, the graphic designer's role in the development of rich media content and interactive spaces, and the inter-disciplinary exchange with other professionals. Coursework develops an understanding of communication, information structure/architecture, interaction, process, and prototyping.
