Health Professions Education Capstone Portfolio Seminar I

This course, the first of two required seminar classes in the Masters of Health Professions Education, is designed to assist students in the preparation of their a portfolio of papers/projects reflective of their current and future knowledge and roles as Health Professions Educators. Major adult education and learning and development theories will be discussed, reviewed and analyzed in relation to ongoing portfolio work. As an outcome of this course, students will write and present evaluation/assessment or curriculum plan proposal, including as appropriate for the project, problem, purpose, research questions and hypothesis, literature review, methodology, and plan for evaluation or curriculum innovation.
